Some work
Tek.no and Prisguide.no
Tek.no is one of the biggest technology related network of websites in Norway. I've worked here for nearly 5 years now - my entire career. During this time I've designed and implemented a fullblown CMS, video systems, classifieds market, search engines and a lot of misc web applications over the years.
I have also spent a lot of time designing and implementing a custom PHP web framework, templating languages, caching systems, custom ORM and lots of other in house PHP libraries. Over the years I've been across a lot of the problems and issues in the LAMP stack.
On top of developing web solutions using PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript I have also administered our server park with GNU/Linux on over 10 physical servers maintaining software like MySQL and Apache as well as lots of minor applications.
Prisguide.no is probably the most technicaly interesting. It's a price guide, mostly for technological products, and indexes prices from almost every serious contender in the Norwegian market. It also has detailed specs for products and lets users give reviews and put together shopping lists.
In total the network includes these sites: akam.no, amobil.no, audiovisuelt.no, hardware.no, spillverket.no and the portal site tek.no.
Kulturo.no
I actually started Kulturo.no as a project with a friend, Henrik Salthe, back in 2005. We felt Norway lacked a web magazine writing about music and movies without doing so half arsed like everyone does. Over the years we managed to become an established magazine with high quality content before we eventualy sold out to Edda Media which in turn shut the project down.
On this project I did a lot of varied work. I did management, development and I wrote my share of reviews and stories. You can find all the articles i wrote (in Norwegian) over at audiovisuelt.no. It's a total of 126 articles ranging from CD reviews, movie reviews and music festival coverage.
